IL-BTO - Metallic double mechanical seal pump, vertical in-line construction

Description

If space is a premium, and the process fluid has a high solid content,then the vertical in-line pump model IL-BTO is an excellent technical solution. With the vertical design, when the pump is stationary all solids settle to the bottom of the pump casing, away from the seal, so when

the pump is restarted there are no solids around the mechanical seal. This arrangement results in an extended life of both the pump and shaft sealing system. A heavy duty process-bearing frame allows the use of standard

motors via an intermediate adapter flange. The wetted end of the pump is easily accessible via a removable lower casing cover, allowing access and removal of the impeller, shaft sleeve and mechanical seal assembly.
